Mens, womans, and kids all included. Prescription or non you can find something thats the perfect fit for yourself. There is an option to upload a photo of yourself and try them on virtually. Yay for no bad surprises in the mail. Making it online you can do whenever your schedule allows. No need to make an appointment during office hours! Zenni Optical was born in San Francisco, with a goal of "Giving people glasses they can actually afford but still make them look like a million bucks." Sign me up!

Maxine Mae

Maxine Mae Body Scrub by Morgan

A variety of body scrub scents available at Gold, located at 3706 E Anaheim Ave Long Beach, CA 90804. Not just for the ladies; guys love it too! I’ve been told its perfect after-surfing care. Keep in mind that father’s day is approaching also!

Q: Where are you from? What are your hobbies? Do you sell and blend your scrubs full time?

A: I am originally from Joliet, Illinois, which is about 50 miles south of Chicago. I moved to LA in 2002, just after high school. I have lived in Long Beach since 2004, with my husband.  I work full time as a GIS Analyst while being a doTERRA wellness advocate and Rodan + Fields Independent Consultant.  With those amazing responsibilities along with our one-year-old English bulldog, I don't have a lot of time for hobbies!  I try to read when I can, work out when I can, and my main guilty pleasure is watching General Hospital!

Q: How did you get in the scrub business?

A: I decided I wanted to make something for Christmas presents this past year.  Everyone seemed to fall in-love with them and then I was presented the opportunity to sell them at GOLD.

Q: Do you have a personal favorite scent?

A: I swear – each new scent seems to be my favorite.  If I had to choose, right it would be Grounded Grapefruit.  There are several different oils blended together that help you to feel "balanced" and happy.

Q: How do you come up with scents/mixes?

A: I try to combine oils that are both good for skin and your senses; basically, mostly by trial and error.  I take drops of each and give them a minute to mingle.  They don't always smell the same extremely concentrated in the bottle so mix 1-2 drops of each and let them circulate.  Some are great and some are just horrible!  It's fun to experiment.

Q: Tell me about the essential oils you use.

A: All the oils I use are Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade Organic Essential Oils sourced from their natural habitats to ensure their quality and beneficial properties.

Q: If you could vaca anywhere where would you go?

A: I have been lucky to go many places but there are so many more!  I love Ireland soooo much. The people there are just amazing! I can't wait to go to Greece!

Morgan is quite knowledgeable about essential oils and their benefits.

Mixed Chicks

New product alert for my curly girls! The line Mixed chicks (aka anyone with curly hair) came out with a product called the "morning after". Its a curl redefining foam to be used on dry hair. Do you ever wake up with a head full and frizz and think the only thing that can help this mess is to wash? Well get lazy cause all you really need is some of this and your back in smooth business. I was personally a little scared because my curls are not of the course variety. They are fine and soft but this did not give me top o' ramen hair. *rejoice* You just scrunch/apply it in like you would any other foam/mousse. I know every gal has their way that works best for their hair type. Regardless, get into it. Less wash, less color fade, less damage.

Krissy’s Trinket’s

All of the vintage silver jewelry in my shop is from this gal. She's a treasure hunter of trinket's! Always fun to hear a little back story on what your buying.

Q: Tell me a little about yourself; where are you from? What are your hobbies?

A: I'm from Sacramento, California. My hobbies are crafting, thrifting, and traveling. I do hair and I look for treasures anytime I'm not inside.

Q: Favorite place you’ve traveled?
A: Spain! The food and culture are the best.

Q: How did you get into the trinket business?

A: I got into the trinket business from a former boyfriend who owns a gold store. He started bringing home a lot of cool stuff and that's how it happened – organically.

Q: Do you have a favorite stone?
A: I love all stones but if I had to pick one, it would probably be the Moonstone. No two Moonstones look the same.

Q: What other vendors besides Gold do you sell your items through?
A: I sell “Krissy’s Trinkets” on Etsy, Poshmark, and I am currently working on my eBay store.

Q: Do you deal in silver and gold?
A: I have some gold but mostly deal with silver.

Q: What is your spirit animal?
A: I'd say my spirit animal is similar to the crow.

A variety of trinket available at the shop 3706 E Anaheim Ave Long Beach, CA 90804.

Sweet Peach

Gel's you can do at home with no fancy light! AKA no hand tanning bed and No hand skin cancer?! Yay! All you need is a little sunlight! Bio Seed Gel is the name and healthier gel choice is their game. Regardless of the frequency of wear, BSG will not cause damaged nails while still performing as a professional gel for weeks of chip-free high shine nails.  This gel is big-5 free, with no formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, BHA or solvents. Odourless, dustless and safe for all ages and even pregnant women! I tried the color "sweet peach" and I was pleasantly surprised! It's a pinky coral and makes you look slightly tanner than usual. Goes with most outfit choices as well. All good points in my book. My ONLY thing that I would change is the take off process is tough. I'm sure it has 90% to do with my patience. Just being honest :)
